God-bye to Jo Baldwin

Jo has been a very regular Friday visitor, doing cognitive stimulation therapy which is  a grand name for getting people oriented to time and place, with a good chat about what's happening in the newspapers etc. She is stopping to help her daughter with her baby and we want to say thankyou and all the best for the future.

Victoria has been sitting in with her over the past few weeks and has taken over the reins very ably. First purchase will be a subscription to Positive News magazine so we don't have to suffer too much the grim news in most of the newspapers most of the time.

Pearl's Easter Cake

Pearl is a bit of an artist and mad a cake that was almost too good to eat. Perhaps not a traditional Easter Cake although there are rabbits if you look closely.

Outing to see the Lambs

We picked rather a chilly day to go and see the lambs on John and Lin O'Dell's farm at Tattersett. The lambs didn't seem to mind are chased around in big gangs for our entertainment although we mostly watched from the bus this year. Lin did bring out an orphan for us to take on the bus although he was a bit bigger than in previous years and wasn't quite as cuddly. Ady the driver turned the heating up and took us on a tour of the countryside on the way back, through Rudham and round by Raynham and Helhoughton.
