Movement to Music

Hands, knees and whoops-a-daisy is a very odd thing when you think about it, but it's a bit of fun anyway. The hoops are also very popular

Easter Bonnet Making

We've got lots of old straw hats and materials for making Easter Bonnets. It's fun making them and then wearing them always seems to bring a smile to the face. The chaps enjoy it just as much as the ladies. We'll put them away till Easter now.

Happy Birthday Reg

Reg likes country and western music so Paul Denny and Jane came and played lots of old favourites. It was another excuse to get hats out. HAPPY BIRTHDAY REG.

St Patrick's Day Chat Club

The subject of drinking and Guinness is what most people associate with  Ireland. Faye popped out to buy a can of the black stuff so we had something to toast St Patrick with. We also talked about comedy and who makes you laugh. Derrick does a good Tommy Cooper. We seem to have funny hats for most occasions but goodness knows where the St Patrick's day ones came from.

Red Nose Day

Red Nose Day was on a Friday so Jo Baldwin's Natterjacks (aka Cognitive Stimulation Therapy) was a little bit different. We did the usual orientation exercises to start with (time, place etc),then looked at the newspapers and talked about Red Nose Day and what it's all about. Funny faces was the order of the day so we did our bit with face paints and masks. At the end we had a bit of dance too.

Red Nose Day Preparations

Half the fun of Red Nose day was getting ready for it. In line with the theme 'Make Your Face Funny for Money' we made and decorated masks.
