We've made a simnel cake and now we've decorated it with marzipan rabbits, chicks and eleven balls for the disciples around the outside. Apparently simnel cake was traditionally eaten on Mothering Sunday and not Easter so we'll stick to tradition and get Pearl to bake another cake for Easter.
